Holiday Decorating Process
Consultation
A preliminary discussion about your project scope, general options for Christmas decorations and decorating budget is done via phone. (Most clients text us initial photos of areas they’d like us to decorate.) Your holiday decorator will then schedule an appointment to see your home or business. At that meeting, we can discuss scope, color palettes, style and what pieces we can create or procure for a cohesive look. A preliminary estimate or range of costs is provided based on the scale and location of your project followed by a proposal for decorating services.
Measurements
All custom-made holiday decorations are sized to the dimensions of your house, fixtures and furniture. Measurements are taken of entryways, railings and any surfaces to be decorated. Electrical outlets are located to determine cord and timer setups for lighted Christmas decorations and if battery operated lights are needed.
Design & Acquisitions
Everything we create is tailored to your color scheme and style for tasteful holiday décor you can’t find in a store. Your decorator will present materials and ornament collections for you to choose and ensure your seasonal looks reflect your personal tastes.
Installation Scheduling
Due to the tight time frame for holiday decorating, installations may be scheduled any time mornings through evenings in November and December. Downtown Milwaukee and East Side condo residents should make any necessary arrangements with their concierge for holiday decorator parking, unloading, security protocol and access to bellhop carts.

Exterior Decorating
Our exterior holiday decorating specialization is designing and crafting custom entrance sets of natural or artificial lighted garlands, wreaths, swags, potted Christmas trees and topiary or outdoor Christmas planter displays.
Depending on your home’s architecture, other key spots around your exterior may call for wreaths, swags and other Christmas decorations that’ll make your home a stand-out in the neighborhood. Final fittings for garlands are usually done during installation.

Live Christmas Trees
Depending on weather conditions, live trees are usually brought in the day or evening before being decorated to allow frozen tree branches to thaw and settle.
Artificial Christmas Trees
If you have existing artificial trees you wish to use, please plan on showing us what you have or providing photos of any trees in storage. We ask you to provide preliminary measurements of stored trees, and if dimensions are unknown, arrangements need to be made to assemble the trees and determine size and branching style for optimal design.
Holiday Decorating for Pets
Make your holidays fun and adorable for your pampered pets. Decorating services for family dogs and cats are available. We offer themed trees, stockings, holiday treat bars and other Christmas decor and accessories for pets and their guests.
