Holiday Design Process

Consultation

A preliminary discussion about your project scope, general options and decorating budget is done via phone. (Most clients text us photos of areas they’d like us to decorate.) We then schedule an appointment to see your home, learn more about your ideas and discuss color palettes, style and pieces we can create or procure for a cohesive look. A preliminary estimate or range of costs is provided based on the scope and scale of your project followed by a proposal for decorating services.

Measurements

All custom-made holiday décor pieces are sized to the dimensions of your house, fixtures and furniture. Measurements are taken of entryways, railings and any surfaces to be decorated. Electrical outlets are located to determine cord and timer setups for lighted Christmas decorations and if battery operated lights are needed.

Design & Acquisitions

Everything we create is tailored to your color scheme and style for tasteful holiday décor you can’t find in a store. We’ll present materials and ornament collections for you to choose to ensure your seasonal looks suit your tastes.

Installation Scheduling

Due to the tight time frame for holiday decorating, installations may be scheduled any time mornings through evenings in November and December. Downtown Milwaukee and east side condo residents typically need to make arrangements directly with their concierge for decorator parking, unloading and security protocol.
